Welcome to the Quiet Life — I’ve been saving you a place
A year in poems, reflections, and the rhythm of rural solitude
🌿 Letters from the Quiet Life
Volume 0 — A Soft Beginning
Dear friend,
You found your way here—what a gift that is.
This little corner of the internet is quiet on purpose. It’s a place for those of us who move a little slower, feel a little deeper, and find comfort in the small, wild, wondrous things that others might miss.
Every other week, I’ll be sharing a poem from my collection Where the Wind Hangs Its Hat — a year told through gardens, chores, and moments of solitude on my rural homestead. Alongside each poem, you’ll get a short letter from me, a tea recipe or garden tip, and something to stir your own reflection.
I’m not here to offer answers, but I will offer company.
If you’d like to make this a ritual, I suggest you read these notes with a warm mug in hand. Let the world wait five more minutes. Let yourself soften.
Welcome to the quiet life.
Warmly,
Ellen
